Semi-Finished Coated Fabric

Semi-finished coated fabric is supplied in roll form for customers who will carry out further coating, lamination, cutting, welding, or fabrication. Instead of receiving a fully finished textile, converters can specify the base fabric, coating stage, width, roll format, and other incoming-material requirements according to their own production process.

Yi Chun provides technical woven fabrics with coating and finishing capabilities for further processing. Depending on the project, the required material and supply stage can be defined around the customer's downstream manufacturing requirements.

Semi-Finished Supply for Further Processing

Semi-finished fabric can be supplied at different stages depending on the work that will be completed by the customer. Some projects may require a base fabric for further coating or lamination, while others may require a coated material that is ready for cutting, welding, or fabrication.

The appropriate supply stage should therefore be defined together with the downstream process. Surface condition, coating type and weight, width, roll format, and dimensional consistency may all need to be considered before production.

Documentation Can Be Defined With the Material

For projects with specific market or customer requirements, the required supporting documents should be identified together with the material specification. Depending on the selected construction and end use, this may include material declarations, restricted-substance information, recycled-content documentation, or other project-specific records.

Production Details Beyond the Fabric Specification

For converters, roll length, packing method, batch consistency, delivery quantity, and production schedule can be as important as the fabric specification itself. These requirements should be discussed early when the material will feed into an established converting process.
